A large Prospect Park, Brooklyn entrance planting with a complex matrix of native perennial species and about 3,000 live plants installed. This entrance was selected for its location on the low-income side of the Park as a deliberate response to the uneven distribution of Park resources and services.

A combination of native and exotic shrubs, grasses and perennials as a greeting garden on the underserved side of the Park where homeless people are present on a regular basis almost year round.

A large Prospect Park, Brooklyn entrance planting including masses of native groundcover edible blueberry shrubs. This young planting is adjacent to two pavilions that are favored by the homeless who are in full view near a wealthy neighborhood outside of the Park. The ornamental planting highlights paradoxical relations of class, drawing attention to the regular presence of the homeless intensely used Park Entrance.
